Monday, Day 5, Sturgis 2022

 Monday ended up being a very hot day somewhere in the 90's. Our day started with breakfast at the catholic church in Belle Fourche. For 10 dollars you got all you could eat biscuits and gravey along with scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes and pancakes. It was very good.

After leaving there we gassed up and headed out. We started our ride by taking US hwy 212 west to Alzada MT. It was to early for a drink so we just hung out for a little while and talked to a few people. After leaving Alzada we headed south to the town of Hulet WY. Now it was time for my one drink. When riding I allow myself only one drink and it was a Bloodymary and it was very good. While in town we went into an antique/museum store. There was alot of very interesting stuff there. It had a bunch of Indian  and cowboy artifacts fom the 1800's. I could of spent more time there.

Our next stop was a pull off near Devils Tower for a photo op. Then back on the road to Sundance WY for lunch. It was a very good lunch but took a long time for our order. The kitchen screwed up and the waitress was not happy about it. She discounted our meal and she got a tip I'm sure really surprised her. It was a very large tip.

Next stop on our ride was Aladdin Wy. Population 15. It is basically a store with one gas pump and the post office and a motel. I had an Orange push-up frozen treat and did it ever hit the spot on a hot day. We left Aladdin and headed back towards Belle Fourche SD but made a stop at the Stonehouse Saloon. We listened to the bands for awhile and had some pop or water. Leaving there we stopped in Belle Fourche for fuel and then headed to Deadwood to do a little gambling. I lost my 20 bucks in about a half hour and left. I went back to Belle Fourche and had some dinner at Taco John's then made a stop at the liquor store for some Coke and Black Velvet whiskey. Came back to camp and had a couple drinks, talked for awhile with Lyle, Carl and Lisa then went to bed.
