Saturday ride 1-25. Get that T-shirt

Today the plan was to hit the last 3 places on our Crazy Eight tour card and collect our T-shirt. On our last two rides we've managed to stop at 5 of the 8 sponsors.
Our ride today was in a clockwise direction with a couple of side trips and covered 82.5 miles for me and slightly less for Jean and Gib. Since we left at about 9:40am and our first stop did not open until 11am we took the long way around to get to our first stop at Big Musky Resort and Motel. It is star 108 on the map, middle right.
Our route for the day. The trails were alot bumper than on Wednesday.
Crossing West Twin Lake Road 1 mile from home and Gib coming out from his house to start the ride. We were going to take the short way to trail 5 at intersection 45 except that when we approached the shore it was very slushy. From the shoreline out a good 50 feet. That in itself is not a huge problem if you can cross it with some speed. We couldn't because of the steep bank at the shore. We've seen this before at this spot. A spring perhaps. No big deal, turn around.
I never get tired of the views while going thru the woods. These were taken along trails 5 and 3.
Running down 319 from intersection 70. Gib picked up the pace on this nice smooth stretch.
Starting to see some traffic out on the Chippewa flowage and a good number of fisherman.
Gib says we turn right here in order to get here. Star 108 on map.
A nice cozy place with a good Bloody Mary.
Yes that's open water. Might be a spring there. I saw this on our side trip off trail 33 to Big Musky. Staying on the marked route would be a good idea.
Approaching our second stop, Chippewa Pines Resort. It's circle 67 on the map, not far from our first stop.
Upon coming thru the door this is how we were greeted. I guess they were not on duty yet because they never moved. there were 5 total but you would never know it. What a great place.
And here is the rest of the bar. Typical Northern Wisconsin resort bar.
Back into the woods after leaving stop 2 along trails 33 and 9.
Running trail 9, near the bottom of the map.
Finally some fast running on trail 17/Devil's Lake road before it's back in the woods. Not to far from stop number 3 now.
Coming off the lake to Angler's Haven. The bar is right straight ahead.
Inside Angler's Haven.
Got our last stamp and got our shirt, sweet!
Upon leaving it had started to snow and about another dozen sleds showed up.
Visibility was reduced a little for most of the ride home.
Big Round Lake. Not to far from home now.
Another good Saturday Ride.
