More Fall Pics

Since my last post in late Sept we've gone from early fall colors to past peak and with the wind the last two days alot of leaves have come down. I'd call it late fall now. This post will be mostly pictures.

Came within 8 inches of a hole in one. You can see where my ball hit the green and spun back a couple feet. I made the putt for a birdie. 90 yard hole with my Gap wedge.

Hole three at Lakeview. Oct 2nd.

Hole 3

Hole number 4. You can see the moon straight up from the flag.

Oct 3rd.

Next group were taken on the 4th and 5th of Oct.
Severe drought up here. My lake is down more than 16 inches.

Maple tree near the end of my driveway.

They are only releasing a minimum of water at the dam on our flowage.

My 12 year old Yamaha XT 250.

Chief river below the dam.
The leaves left early here.

But just a couple miles away they were still pretty green.

Beautiful red maple on the corner.

Alot of Poplar and Birch along this stretch.

The colors were great on this mostly sunny day.

A National Forest service map.

I like to have a paper map to consult when riding the forest roads.

My Kawasaki KLR 650. My ride for today's excursion.

Saw some great golds and reds today.
Getting to be that time of year to get the golf simulator up and running.

The leaves are coming down on Oct 6th.

The boat is clean and put away.

Our driveway Maple tree.

Longer view.

Oak is 25 feet from the house and about 80 feet tall.

Plenty of ATV/UTV roads in this area.

Leaves are about 2/3 down on Oct 15th.
Right outside my window where I eat my breakfast.

They like hanging out here.

Looking for Acorns. We have a bumper crop this year.

Moon going down last night

Taken today the 18th.
