Sturgis 2025 Day 5

Today was moving day from the Econolodge to Wyatt's Hideaway campground where I have a camping cabin rented. The temperature has come down about 15 degrees or more since yesterday. It's perfect riding weather now.

After breakfast at the motel I packed up the bike and went for a nice easy ride. I ended up going down Spearfish canyon to cheyenne crossing then up the hill towards Deadwood. About 4 miles up I turned right and made my way down to Rochford and the Moonshine Gulch saloon. Been coming to this place for more than 40 years. It seems that I end up stopping here every year. Doubling back up to US 14A I turned right and proceeded to Deadwood. I did not stop it looked pretty crowded. From there I made my way up to the campground and was able to check in early. Pictures for the day as follows.

The next bunch of pics is Spearfish Canyon road

Spearfish creek on the left.

Still plenty of bikes on the road today.
Bridal Vale Falls.

What do you think, With or without glasses. My smile was definitely better without glasses. It's OK to comment.

At the top of the canyon is the Cheyenne Crossing store. The front of the shirt says Cheyenne Crossing Staff,
Next 4 pics are from road to Rochford.

Moonshine Gulth saloon. From here I head back on the same road 15 miles to get back on 14A into Deadwood.
Preacher Smith Monument just outside Deadwood.

History Lesson.

Yes, that's my bike.
Wish somebody would restore this place.

My home for the next 3 days.
Not sure what I will do tomorrow. I will figure it out then.
Would like to see some comments left for me to read.
Until tomorrow, BYE.
