Thought I would just post some pictures that I've taken over the last couple months.
Out for a ride Oct 27.
Namekagon Dam east of Cable WI. You can start here an travel all the way to the Gulf of Mexico by river.
Checking out the fishing prospects at the dam area.
Lots of kayakers use this river.
Tons of forest service roads to ride on in northern Wisconsin. The best part is there is very little traffic.
Sunrise north end of Mille Lacs Lake in Minnesota Oct 23.
Good fall colors this year.
Deer loading up on accorns. We had a bumper crop this year.
What a great view I have.
From our deck, nice view.
The above 6 pictures are all local roads. I love living up here in northern Wisconsin.
Winters can get chilly here. This morning Jan 23 we woke up to -29 Fahrenheit.
The kids are at it again. Hwy 63 between Hayward and Spooner WI.
And another great late fall sunset.
Time to fire up the wood stove.
Just had to get a picture of this.
First real snow of the winter Nov 26th. Ended up with about 9 inches at our house when it finally decided to quit.
A little project I did in early December.
Great sunset Dec 14th.
We have a pair of Pileated Woodpeckers wintering here. I've also spotted a juvenile and an adult Red Headed woodpecker. They shouldn't be this far north in the winter. We also have Hairy, Downy and Red Breasted woodpeckers.
Just passing through.
Christmas was wonderful.
Hope everyone has a great 2026.
