September is a month of change in northern Wisconsin. I will just post a bunch of photos with captions.
Sunday Sept 4th only a few female Hummingbirds left.

This cake was put up for auction and brought in a thousand dollars.
After the winners ate about half it was autioned again and brought in another five hundred dollars. there were four or five other cakes autioned and the same thing happened. They ended up being partcially eaten and then reauctioned.

By the 10th of Sept the deer have pretty much changed color.
The last of the flowers.
The last Hummingbird sighting at our house was on the 12th of Sept. We left the feeders out until the 25th of the month but didn't observe any more.
Trees starting to show their color on the golf couse by the 13th of Sept.
Start of the Fat Tire Birkie in Hayward WI. This race has three distances you can run. The longest for the pros is about 40 miles through the woods. This was run the weekend of the 17th of Sept with about two thousand participents. Winning time was just over two hours in the mens pro division.

Crossing the bridge at county OO. This is the cross country ski bridge in the winter. This bridge was installed a couple years ago.
By the 22nd of sept the trees are starting to really show some color.
