Sturgis 2025 Day 10

Today was our last day in the hills.  We started the day with a visit to see a couple people that I have know for years, Preston and Eugenia live just outside Hot Springs where we are staying. From there we headed north up through Custer and on to Hill City. Had lunch there and then headed to Rochford for a cold root bear. They have newly paved alot of the road that used to be gravel. They are just about done with it according to the flagger. A truely great riding road now. We were going to keep going north before turning south back toward Hot Springs. Then we looked at the weather and decided the best course of action was to double back the way we came and hope we beat the rain. And we did beat it by 2 minutes before it opened up for about 10-15 minutes. No hail thank goodness. We did get a few drops from a cell that had already passed by before we got there. Not many pictures today.

Hill City still had some bikers in town. Nothing like a week ago when this street was blocked off for bikes only.

Bike rally is over now it is ATV and side by side time.

We were not sure at this point if we would beat the storm.

The storm we missed by two minutes.
Tomorrow we head home.
