Not much to talk about over these past 2 weeks. My wife Wendie has been hard at work making X-mas presents. I purchased an enclosed double snowmobile trailer. We've had a few small snow events. The ground is once again mostly bare. The temps have been in the 20's at night and low 30's in the daytime. The lake is ice covered but not safe to go out on. Wisconsin firearms deer season ended on Sunday. Wearing orange outside is the smart thing to do during the 9 day season. Again this year we had two hunters shoot an Elk thinking it was a deer. Elk are about 3 times bigger than our white tail deer and have different coloring. These two animals were also wearing an orange tracking collar. I have no words for the stupidity of some people. I've been doing a few things up in my new garage. I built two platforms to fit on the racks of my ATV. They will come in handy as a place to put buckets of sand for extra traction when I'm plowing the driveway this winter. I hung a shelf and got my stereo reciever and 5 disc CD player hooked up. It will be nice to have tunes out there. I had some 2 inch R-10 foam insulation left over so I cut a piece for each of the windows. It should help cut down on the heat loss.

Random pictures Nov 12-30
Wendie's been hard at work making X-mas gifts. Quilts (top 2), wall hanging (center) and pot holders (bottom 2). The fish quilt and the deer wall hanging still needs to be quilted and the bottom 2 pot holders need their binding finished.
Picked up this new double snowmobile trailer on Nov 14 at Central Trailers in East Bethel, MN. It'll also haul 2 ATV's or a couple motorcycles.
Stopped at the liquor store for some Crown Royal and saw this. Is the Pack back?
This nice buck came by on the 16th and the 19th about 8:30am. I wonder if he survived the hunting season? I'll be keeping an eye out for him.
Monday the 16th was another nice day in northern Wisconsin.
Sunset on the 19th.
My buddy Art picked up this nice 2007 Harley 1200 sportster custom with 8200 miles and new tires on the 17th down in Inver Grove Heights MN. It had just been serviced and then the owner hurt his back and can't ride anymore. He paid four grand for it, a fair price. It also came with a cover and battery tender.
Some fresh snow on the 22nd. It's pretty much gone today the 30th.
The ATV all ready to push some snow. Each bucket has about 30 pounds of sand in it. I'll see how that works out as I can always add more sand. I may need to buy chains for the tires but I'm going to wait and see how this works out.
I keep the garage heated to 42 degrees unless I'm working out there. It heats up very quickly with this heater.
Got foam in the windows and the tunes hooked up and ready to go. My reciever is a Pioneer SX 434 from about 1974, and still works great. I'm using a TEAC PD-D2410 CD player. The speakers are custom from Innovox Audio in St. Paul, MN.
Snow is pretty much gone today the 30th.
